Description of Course:
This Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens eLearning Course covers the cognitive portion of the course and can be used for first-time or renewal certifications. This course is self-directed to meet Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements for bloodborne pathogens training. AHA provides students with a certificate of completion when they have successfully completed all modules. Student will have access to the online version of the Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens Student Book. This convenient internet-based program will allow the students to train at their own pace, anytime, and anywhere there is internet access.

A reasonable chance for occupational exposure to blood or blood-containing material, including childcare workers, school personnel, maintenance workers, security officers, Health and Fitness centers, Industry, manufacturing, Fortune 1500 companies, Hospitality, Occupational Health, Property Management, Tattoo design artists, and state corrections facilities.
This web-based Blended Online Content provides video demonstration of skills and interactive activities where students will learn how to protect themselves from and deal with bloodborne pathogens in the workplace.
