HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) Blended Learning Online Part 1 with American Heart Association.
HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) Hands-On Skills Part 2 Skills Practice and Testing with an American Heart Association Instructor-Led Classroom Video-based Course.
Blended Learning: The HeartCode BLS Blended Learning Online eLearning is combined with self-directed online training with American Heart Association Instructor-Led Classroom Hands-On Practice and Testing Session. After completing the eLearning component, student will attend a structured Instructor-Led BLS Hands-On Skills Session with an American Heart Association Instructor. This course focuses on Skills Practice, debriefing, team scenarios, discussion of local protocols, and skills testing. American Heart Association 2015 Guidelines.

This course is designed for Healthcare Professionals and other personnel who need be knowledgeable in performing CPR skills and other basic cardiovascular life support skills.
You may take the HeartCode BLS Course Online at www.onlineaha.org
- Each Student trained MUST purchase ONE Online Access key for HeartCode BLS with the American Heart Association.
- Please make sure to select the CORRECT Course needed for your job or school. This online course is HeartCode BLS. If you should have any questions, please feel free to contact CPR Heart of Angels at (210) 287-5932.
- Complete the Course (Part 1) with the American Heart Association.
- HeartCode BLS will allow students to select a track IN-FACILITY or PREHOSPITAL before starting modules. Please select the correct track.
- Student will have access to the online version of the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers Student Manual. Student is NOT required to purchase the hardcopy Student Book since you have access to the online version.
- After successfully completing the Blended eLearning Online American Heart Association Course, please call CPR Heart of Angels at (210) 287-5932 to schedule your Instructor-Led HeartCode BLS Hands-On Skills Practice and Testing Session.
- Each Student MUST present a copy of the printed HeartCode BLS Certificate of Completion you received from successful completion of the Online Course by American Heart Association.
- Instructor will verify your Certificate of Completion with American Heart Association before starting the Hands-On Skills Practice and Testing Session to confirm that the student successfully completed Part 1 Online.
Student MUST pass Written Exam completed Online (84%) and Student MUST pass Skills Practice and Skills Testing in order to qualify for a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers Course Completion eCard by American Heart Association. New Guidelines by American Heart Association students can use the Basic Life Support for Providers Student Manual while taking the eLearning online Written Examination.
Upon successful completion of the HeartCode BLS Course with the American Heart Association 2015 Guidelines, the student will receive a American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Providers Course Completion eCard. Course Completion eCard is valid for 2 years expiration date on eCard.

HeartCode Basic Life Support (BLS) Blended Learning Online Part 1 with American Heart Association:
This HeartCode BLS Blended Learning Online Course covers the cognitive portion of the course (Part 1). This convenient internet-based program will allow the student to train at their own pace, anytime, anywhere with Internet Access.
This HeartCode BLS is for Providers who are experienced in the Skills of Basic Life Support (BLS). HeartCode BLS is for Healthcare Professionals seeking an alternative method for completing an initial or renewal Basic Life Support (BLS) Course. This course is not recommended for First Time Students. This course is designed for students that are proficient in their CPR Skills and are seeking an alternative from sitting through the entire length of class. Please feel comfortable performing all the steps before selecting this option.
HeartCode BLS will allow students to select a track In-Facility or Prehospital before starting modules. This Web-based Blended Learning Online Course portion of the HeartCode BLS uses a variety of eLearning assets, for example, dramatizations, 10 modules, 5 eSimulations, 2 Video Tutorials, and interactive activities to assess each students BLS knowledge and skills.
Student has Online Access to the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers Student Manual. Student is not required to purchase the Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers hardcopy Student Manual. The Student Manual can be found online with the American Heart Association.
HeartCode BLS Online Multiple-choice 25 question Exam to test cognitive knowledge. Student MUST pass with 84%.
Students have access to all HeartCode BLS information for 24 months following activation of the course key. Students pay American Heart Association directly for Part 1.
HeartCode BLS Certificate of Completion that grants access to the classroom portion is available to print only after successful completion of HeartCode BLS modules and simulations, exam, and course evaluation.
Students are eligible for Continuing Education Credit for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and emergency medical service providers.
