Description of Course:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Providers Initial Classroom Video-based Training Instructor-Led Course by American Heart Association teaches both single-rescuer and team Basic Life Support Skills for In-Facility and Prehospital Settings. This course covers 2015 Guidelines Course Content, Skills Practice and Testing. This course is designed to provide a wide variety of certified or noncertified, licensed or non-licensed, healthcare professionals and other personnel with the knowledge of how to perform CPR and other basic cardiovascular life support skills to keep people alive until they can be brought to a hospital or be treated with more advanced care.
We provide CPR Training Services for:
Physicians, nurses, nursing students, medical students, dental students, paramedics, emergency medical technicians, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, physician assistants, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, nursing aides, medical assistants, dental assistants, First Responders such as police officers and firefighters, schools, fitness centers, hotels, restaurants, lifeguards, other allied health personnel, and anyone else may take this course.

- Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use for Adult, Child, and Infant
- Rescue Breathing using Bag Valve Mask (BVM) Ventilations for Adult, Child, and Infant
- Advanced Airway Ventilation for Adult, Child, and Infant
- Effective Ventilations with a Barrier Device
- Multi-Rescuer resuscitation Team Dynamics
- High-Performance Team Activity
- Opioid-Associated Life Threatening Emergency
- Choking relief for Adult, Child, and Infant (Conscious and Unconscious)
- Special Considerations
Course Length: 3-4 Hours Classroom Video-based Instructor-Led Course
Students MUST pass a Written Exam (84%) and Skills Testing in order to qualify for a Basic Life Support for Providers Course Completion eCard by the American Heart Association. New 2015 Guidelines by American Heart Association, students may use the Basic Life Support for Providers Student Manual while taking the Written Examination.
Upon successful completion of the course with the American Heart Association 2015 Guidelines, the student will receive an American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Providers Course Completion eCard. Course Completion eCard is valid for 2 years expiration date on eCard.
Book:
Basic Life Support for Providers Student Book or eBook is required for Class. Each Student MUST have own copy of Basic Life Support for Providers Student Manual or eBook for Class. Each Student MUST bring in current American Heart Association Book or eBook to Class. If not current, each Student MUST purchase a Student Book and CPR Heart of Angels MUST enforce policy. No sharing of Student Book or eBook. Each Student MUST have a current Student Book.
