Description of Course:
This Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens course teaches how to protect oneself and others from being exposed to blood or blood containing materials. Heartsaver Bloodborne Pathogens meets Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements.
We provide CPR Training Services for:
Industry, manufacturing, Fortune 1500 companies, Occupational Health, Property Management, Hospitality, Health and Fitness Centers, Child Care Workers, Schools, Maintenance workers, security officers, state corrections facilities, and tattoo designers.
Course Content:
- What Bloodborne Pathogens are and how they are spread
- How to protect oneself from exposure
- How to clean oneself and the area of exposure
- How to report any exposure to blood or blood-contaminating materials in the workplace
Each Student Book includes a perforated participation card on the back cover of the book.

Each Student MUST bring in current AHA Student Book to class. If not current each student must purchase AHA Student Book prior to class. New Policy by American Heart Association to purchase current Student Book and CPR Heart of Angels MUST enforce policy. Each Student MUST have a Student Book.
